Interviewed on The Setup
Yesterday, The Setup kindly published a short interview with me, detailing the gear I use in my daily musical exploits. It’s a frank run-down of my minimal setup, what I love and loathe about the various software and equipment I use, plus some wish-list musings. Be sure to check out some of their other interviews, as there are quite a few big-hitters of the geek world on there too.

Cool read! The bit about the chair is so true; considering I spend nearly 3x as many hours sitting as I do sleeping, it’s likely more important than a mattress
Isn’t it though? I don’t know how I got by without a decent chair for all these years. I had a shitty Office World chair for about 12 years which made me lean over to one side. All sorts of sporadic back pain ensued.
Also means I can focus on the more fun things now as well. Never understood folks who ignore work aesthetics. Like having three guitars but no stands for them, stacking multiple grands-worth of rack equipment on books instead of buying a rack. Madness.
