Lost in Translation
As an ignorant English pig, I sometimes forget that the internet does in fact consist mainly of non-english web pages and users. So, in the name of strengthening international relations, I’ve added one of Google’s translation widgets to my sidebar, to turn my steaming tower of babble of a website into something a bit more understandable to non-english readers. I’m sure Google will occasionally produce something resembling a rather garbled patois, but it should be enough to get the general gist of it. I ought to find a way of getting something on individual posts too, so whole posts and comments can be translated, but I’m not sure how to do that without ruining the look of the page.
Of course, writing this post in English means few people are going to notice/care anyway! Hmm.

I’ve probably mangled that. And as you know, the only words I know in German are useless. Y yo no sé como se dice ‘widget’ en español—And I’m sure I’ve mangled that, too.

Perhaps it’s a waste of time, I’ll see. Kind of ruins the svelte page layout. Hmmms.
